Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account, or have verifiable parental consent where required by law. You represent that the information you provide is accurate and that you have authority to enter into these Terms.

Accounts and subscriptions

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Subscription plans, pricing, and lesson credits are described at the time of purchase. Fees are billed according to the plan you select unless cancelled in accordance with our refund policy.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the platform, including by harassing tutors or other users, sharing unlawful content, attempting unauthorized access, recording lessons without consent where prohibited, or using automated tools to scrape or disrupt the service.

Tutoring sessions

Lessons are provided on a best-effort basis. Tutor availability may vary. We do not guarantee specific learning outcomes. Cancellation and rescheduling rules apply as shown in your account settings.

Intellectual property

All content on the website and platform—including text, graphics, logos, and software—is owned by Cambly or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive license to use the service for personal learning purposes.

Disclaimer

Services are provided "as is" to the fullest extent permitted by law. We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement where allowed.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cambly shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms or for operational reasons. You may close your account at any time through account settings or by contacting support.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory local consumer protections apply.
